All women try very hard to gain the youthful quality of their hair, all shiny, bouncy and lively looking. They would go to any extent to get the vivacity that they have always wanted their hair to possess.
Hair is a protein substance called “Keratin” which grows from a follicle beneath the skin. The hair that we see on the head is actually a “dead” horn like substance. Hair and skin are very similar to each other. Like the skin, hair owes its color to melanin, a pigmentation that develops only in special cells. Mainly this depends on the hereditary characteristics and has great chance that racial features can also influence it. The hair texture also depends on these features. The hair possesses such characteristics that help us to understand how we can care for it. As we know, hair is porous which allows the application of dyes and lotions to penetrate the outer layer to bleach, dyed or tint the hair.
Before going through any procedure involving hair care, it is important to first find out what kind of hair you possess and then start the hair care procedures accordingly.
